2025 Highlights

Friends and colleagues, I have several exciting updates to share with you! I spent 2025 working on some very interesting projects, but first I want to let you know that I’m available to freelance again. Please reach out if you know of anything, or if you have a project you’d like me to help you with. If you’re unsure whether I have the skills necessary for your project, talk to me. I may very well be able to help.

The first project in 2025 was a complete redesign of a corporate headquarters floor for a very high ranking Fortune 500 company. I was the project manager and also oversaw the production and implementation of the numerous bespoke wallpaper designs, custom woodwork, shelving, signage, and artwork for over 120 individual items produced and installed to spec. As such, I was the liaison between the client and all the vendors. I worked very closely with the design director and the other production artist in order for the final result to remain true to the original vision. This project lasted about six months and the result was really impressive. Everyone involved was incredibly skilled and I really enjoyed project managing for a change.

For the remaining six months I was involved on a variety of production projects and also worked on a series of hi-res retouching and image manipulation files for the same Fortune 500 company. Some of the retouching I did on two different projects included changing environments completely from the way they were originally shot, creating assets where there weren’t any originally, removing items that were in the original shot, changing the color, tone, and creating a new light source for the shot and adjusting all the items accordingly, changing and recreating body parts to match others in the series, as well as doing all the basic cleaning up that one would expect.

I was particularly proud of these two projects. I worked on a total of 13 images. While I’ve always been very skilled at image retouching, I felt I reached a whole new level with the work I did on these. I wish I could share it on this platform! I signed an NDA and even checked with the firm about sharing the work once it was produced. I was told that I could not but those of you who have worked with me in the past can probably very easily take my word for it. I rarely toot my own horn like this, but I’m tooting it! I worked really, really hard and it showed.

I will save the other exciting updates for another time. Stay tuned!
