Orenna.io
I wanted to share my latest project, which I'm super proud of: Orenna.io. This was such a fun project because it was one big problem-solving exercise, and I love problem-solving! I learned even more about the ways I could customize a basic template so that each aspect was intentional. Some moments were threatening to drive me bonkers because I had a vision and I didn't yet know how to execute it. Let it never be said that I give up easily! As I mentioned, I love a good problem.
When I first started building out the website, I had the following internal monologue: "Wow! That's a lot of copy! Every page is going to look the same. Holy cow! This industry language is not easy to understand. How do we explain this more easily without dumbing it down?" You get the picture.
As I mentioned before, the logo was redesigned and refined from an AI generated concept. I worked with Claude extensively, writing and editing, until the copy was perfected. I used Firefly a little for retouching my photos. And Claude was my trouble-shooting buddy. I'm sure I could have done this completely on my own, but it was so much nicer to get the assistance I needed in real time so that I could power through the technical glitches and focus on the design and UI. Fun stuff!
